Colmar Imaging offers both High-Field and OPEN MRI

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
MRI is a non-invasive, sophisticated diagnostic imaging technique that uses a large magnet radio waves and a computer to produce images of the dedicated body part that we are scanning. It gives the physician the ability to see detailed images of your anatomy. There is no radiation involved in a MRI examination. Certain types of MRI exams require the use of a safe paramagnet agent (contrast media). The contrast media, which is given intravenously during the exam, highlights the area of concern.

Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA)
MR Angiography is a specialized study of the blood vessels. The images are produced in a two and three dimensional format to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of stroke and other blood vessel diseases. Many times a contract media is used to enhance these images.

Office Staff
Our clerical staff is a group of pleasant, hard working individuals who are essential to our operations. Our schedulers are well trained in a variety of MRI scans that can be ordered, and are friendly and helpful in assisting physicians and their staff as well as our patients in gathering appropriate information necessary for us to determine type of scan needed, patient safety issues, insurance information, etc. Our receptionists greet each patient when they arrive at our Center and assist them in working through the necessary paperwork in preparation for their MRI scan.

MRI Technologists
All of our MRI Technologists are board certified by the ARRT MR Registry. They are carefully trained to ensure that our patients will receive professional and compassionate care while providing optimal results from each MRI examination.

Radiologists
We have only board certified radiologists with fellowship training and extensive experience in all imaging modalities. As dedicated professionals they provide the interpretations of the MRI/MRA scans to our referring physicians.
